This is the new exclusive album strictly for P-Vine Japan from Galliano, ‘Acid Jazz Revenge’. Galliano reformed two years ago and have been playing concerts, festivals and putting out new music via their label WoozyWu Records.
'Acid Jazz Revenge’ incorporates tracks from the album ‘Unreliable Memories Of Contested Conversations’ released on WoozyWu in 2026 plus three brand new tracks.
The album contained stories of the late 80s London culture that Galliano grew out of, plus tales of where we find ourselves in 2026. The new tracks have added to the initial album’s scope.
The first is ‘Children of the sun’, a Roy Ayers influenced song, recorded as the others were in Boogie Back Studios North London.
Using a lyric from Winter in America by Gill Scott Heron as its first line, it ask’s “what happened to the peace signs/that vanished in our dreams”…
Next is ‘Boogie for Brains’, a dirty funk workout with echoes of James Brown and Maceo Parker on the horn and flute arrangement from long time ‘Conical hat, Spiritual jazz collaborator’ Finn Peters.
Its subject matter deals with how the digital experiment is changing the mind - was this the future we were promised.
'Prince of Peace (Dingwalls version)’ is a live arrangement of the song that the band played in the legendary Gilles Peterson & Patrick Forge club in April 2026. This is the first time this version has been recorded and released.
We hope you enjoy this album and maybe the music can get you cosmic dancing, as we all need to find the boogie to make the groove make sense in these times.
Follow the funk the funk ain’t gonna hurt you.

I'm proud to annouce that Galliano have recorded a 7-track album called 'Unreliable Memories Of Contested Conversations'. It comprises of six new tracks and a new recording of the live show classic 'Jus Reach'. This has been recorded in the style we play it live, updating the '92 version.
It comes out on our new label 'WoozyWu' that we will use to put out music as we feel.
This release comes as a limited edition hand-numbered vinyl LP recorded by the band in Boogie Back Studios, London largely after the sell-out gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire and through the last summer of European gigs.
We are excited for more upcoming shows and a UK tour in March, and watch out for new hoodies and T-shirts on Galliano socials.
